The Earn It With Effort Initiative
The Earn It With Effort Initiative is built on the premise of students being overly focused on one type of “ship”, scholarships, though there are many ships to take a person to their destination. We are focused on mentorship, Internship, Apprenticeship and Entrepreneurship. The Earn It With Effort Initiative combines all these components together as mentors guide students, “The Studybuddies” in running our organization with heavy reliance on virtual operations and platforms.
The system is not transactional as much as it is transformative and collaborative. Like any business that trains its employees in required skills and tasks, the Live and Give Foundation, Inc. trains students in various areas such as flight training, management, marketing, and finance. No individual piece of the puzzle is more important than the next; they are all equally valid, valued, and necessary to create a future we all wish to see.
The Freedom in Flight Initiative
The Freedom in Flight Initiative is focused on establishing relationships with airlines that provide flight miles, especially in exchange for volunteer work by their employees. By combining donated flight miles from airlines, employees, the public, along with credit card bonus miles and buddy passes,
we will offer students the ability to travel to various locations free of charge. We believe that students that have the desire and dedication but are lacking the financial means should not be limited by their circumstances.
The Habitat Project
The habitat project is centered on our organization providing free housing in strategic areas which correspond to the biggest aviation hubs and flight training territories. Moreover, these facilities are designed to provide tools, equipment, resources, and accessibility to airports to allow for efficient training.
Additionally, these facilities, specifically our Flagship location in Texas, has extensive acreage with enough room for our own landing strip and inevitable housing capacity expansion. The versatility, placement, and quality of a student’s living environment and experience is a crucial part of facilitating success consistently.
The Earn It With Effort Initiative: Shero Project
The Live and Give Foundation has worked with people from all walks of life, from the far reaches of the globe. More specifically, we work with women from countries with cultures that sometimes openly discourage women from realizing their potential in fields such as Aviation. Here in the US, there are different obstacles that are more subtle and can be internal.
Students must also believe they are capable, and that process is tied to a lifetime commitment on our part through the Earn it with effort Initiatives. The Earn It with Effort initiative: S.H.E.R.O program is a comprehensive solution to issues of exposure, opportunity, mentorship, tutoring, training, apprenticeship and support! essentialy supporting, helping, elevating and removing obstacles.
The World Aviation Access Panel
The World Aviation Access Panel connects students from around the world to share information, best practices, and advice from seasoned industry professionals.
The panels are virtual events, often hosted at the same location as our large-scale events. To best prepare, we collect data internationally regarding the biggest obstacles students face. We then use this information and opportunity to address the biggest problems students face with real solutions.
At the heart of all our initiatives is self-determination, teamwork, and personal responsibility. As the name of our primary initiative suggests, the students are not given an opportunity, they earn success and results with their sincere effort!
The Gift of Hope initiative
The Gift of Hope initiative is a hybrid program that provides virtual tutoring and courses focusing on Language, Mathematics and ESOL. The program is also able to facilitate the unique needs of special education students.
The four pillars of the Gift of Hope initiative are technology, teamwork, innovation, and practical experiences. Our aim is to provide much needed services to those in underserved rural communities and connect them in a manner that will increase skills, coordination, commerce and facilitate growth.
